Job description
We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts payable/receivable included but not limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities
• Process full cycle accounts payable / receivable
• Prepare the weekly check run
• Vendor/Customer communications
• Vendor/Customer statement reconciliation and Customer Claim
• Check and ACH payment posting to vendor accounts
• Assist with bank account reconciliation


Requirements
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in a direct or similar position
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess and maintain a positive work attitude and enthusiastically promote teamwork
• Proficient with Excel and experience with Netsuite or a similar ERP system


Responsibilities
• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and
recording accounts receivables data
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
• Ability to troubleshoot EDI invoicing and transmission
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along excellent financial math abilities
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
